President Marc C. Conner has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU), joining a distinguished group of higher education leaders from across New York state.

On March 20, General Counsel and Vice President for Human Resources Sarah Delaney Vero and other College leaders offered an overview of key executive orders affecting higher education and 三亿体育官网鈥檚 protocol for federal law enforcement inquiries (agents should be referred to Campus Safety). They also shared resources on where to go for help and answered questions from community members.

The deadline for all submissions is noon on Monday.

is currently featuring the work of student artist Elle McCarty '25. Those interested in displaying their work should get in touch with Evelyn Lee. The shop has also introduced the artists鈥 trading post: Leave a piece of art 鈥 take a piece of art. Artwork can be of any medium (including 3D works) but should be no larger than 4x6 inches.

Athletics News

Nine teams are home this weekend in a huge weekend for . Women鈥檚 lacrosse plays its first of two games at Wachenheim Field at 6 p.m. on Wednesday against Vassar and will host nationally ranked William Smith at noon on Saturday. Softball has non-league doubleheaders at home against Delhi (3 p.m. Friday) and John Jay (11 a.m. Sunday). Men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 rowing kick off their spring seasons at Fish Creek on Saturday morning with a home event against multiple teams. 

鈥孉lso on Saturday, riding will host the Region 3 Finals at the Van Lennep Riding Center. Women鈥檚 tennis returns to league play with home matches against RPI (9 a.m. Saturday), Bard (5 p.m. Saturday), and St. Lawrence (noon, Sunday). Baseball is also home on Saturday with a divisional doubleheader against Bard beginning at noon. At 1 p.m. on Saturday, men鈥檚 tennis will take on RPI before completing its weekend against St. Lawrence at 4 p.m. on Sunday. 

鈥孧en鈥檚 lacrosse, fresh off a ranked win against St. Lawrence, is back home at 3 p.m. on Saturday hosting Clarkson and will be back at 4 p.m. on Monday against New Paltz.
